WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: The competition is reserved to students enrolled/enrolling in the Conservatories of Adria, Castelfranco Veneto, Padova, Rovigo, and Vicenza; as well as the students enrolled/enrolling in the Institutes for Interpreters and Translators of Padova, Vicenza, and Padova's and Gorizia's CIELS.
THE SINGLE COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT: the modalities and criteria to access the service are described in the Single competition announcement for A.Y. 2018/2019, approved with the Special Commissioner Decree no. 26 of 12th July 2018.
STATUS OF NON RESIDENT - COMMUTER - RESIDENT STUDENTS: For the definition of the condition of non-resident, commuter or resident student, please adhere strictly to the tables of geographical distances published by the University. For housing purposes, students with physical or visual disabilities may be declared non-resident, regardless of place of residence.
ISEE certification for the Right to University Education: considering the waiting time necessary for completing the DSU (Dichiarazione Sostitutiva Unica - Italian Single Substitute Declaration), please start the procedure at the CAF (Centres for Fiscal Assistance) or municipalities and Inps offices well in advance. Expect about 15 working days to obtain the ISEE Certification, starting from the submission date of the DSU.
ISEE declarations released before January 1st, 2018 will not be considered valid.
In order to obtain an equivalent ISEE:
- foreign students with family NOT resident in Italy;
- foreign students resident in Italy (non autonomous) with family resident abroad;
- Italian students resident abroad

For the A.Y. 2018/2019, the application to access the accommodation service and the regional scholarship competition must be sent online, accessing the Online Services, from 12:00 of 16th July 2018.
To help with the compilation of the form, applicants are kindly requested to download and read carefully the Instructions for the compilation.
The applications deadlines are:
06 September 2018 at 12:00 - for the ESU accommodation service
15 October 2018 at 12:00 - for the regional scholarships

Regional Tax for the Right to University Education A.Y. 2018/2019
For the A.Y. 2018/2019 the Regional Tax for the Right to University Education amounts to 169.00 Euros.
According to the Regional Law no. 15 of 28th June 2013, Veneto Region has established new regulations for the charge of the Regional Tax, divided in 3 different amounts according to income.
To benefit of the tax reduction, students must declare their economic status compiling the following form: AUTOCERTIFICAZIONE (self-declaration, which is to send via e-mail to email@example.com - ESU's Benefit Office - along with a copy of the valid personal document, deadline 30th November 2018) requesting the possible reimbursement of the amount already paid.
According to Article no. 3, subsections 20 and 23 of the Regional Law no. 549 of 28th December 1995, the payment of the Regional Tax is
mandatory for everyone who is enrolled in University.
Only the students of the higher training courses of the Conservatories that are also enrolled in any University in the Veneto Region for A.Y. 2018/2019 are exempted from the Regional Tax payment.
Note: the Regional Tax can be paid only:
- by accessing the MyPay portal (if applicant has Italian Fiscal Code): in Altre Tipologie di pagamento, the student must select the Tassa Regionale DSU (Regional Tax for the Right to University Education) and fill in the data required. Then > Procedi (proceed). (Further information available here).
After indicating your credit card reference circuit, you have to choose the Credit Institution: it is suggested that you choose the institution that applies the inferior fee (do not search your bank because the given list does not include all banks).
